GAV’S WEATHER | COOL ON THE COAST AS THE WEST FEELS THE HEAT

West of the divide it will be hot and dry for your Wednesday, with isolated shower activity for the coast.

A number of troughs are arching their war across the country, with onshore winds dominating the eastern seaboard.

The shower activity is set to be more likely in the north of the state.

Across the border, Tropical Cyclone Owen is weakening off the Far North Queensland Coast, and isn’t expected to make landfall.
