BackTrack Youth Works has taken out top honours, at the New South Wales Business Awards overnight – the Armidale based company, named Social Enterprise of the Year.
The organisation helps young people to get back on track, by immersing them in community projects.
On average, after six months, 1 in 2 participants report a significant decrease in psychological distress, while school attendance increases by 66%.
