Central Coast Builders consisting of Randall and Cameron Sharpe, Russ Maloney and Nathan Horswell have suffered a narrow loss to The Retailers, in the final of the Jim Beam Surftag Industry Challenge at South Curl Curl.
Maloney was a standout for the reigning champions, posting the highest score of the event with a phenomenal 28.17 out of 30.
His two wave total of 23.23 was also the highest of in the final, but his team fell just short – going down by less than one and half points.
