TAMWORTH PLAYERS HELP LEAD AUSTRALIA TO VICTORY

It’s been a big weekend for the region’s OzTag players, with two dozen donning the green and gold at the World Cup in Coffs Harbour.

Over two days, teams from all over the world battled it out for the title – athletes from Tamworth helping the Aussies dominate the finals.

“All up about 24 odd players over the Aussie side’s indigenous and we even had one Irish fellow that was playing over there, and along with them we had 6 referees that were representing.”

Our players contributing to the victories of the Masters Men and Women’s, Senior Mixed, and the Women’s 21’s to name a few.
