It’s with heavy hearts that we report the passing of a dear and long-time member of the NBN News family.
Veteran cameraman Michael Rauch passed away last night after a brave battle with cancer.
Michael joined NBN News in 1984, and in the 33 years since, documented the highs and lows of the Hunter’s history.
He mentored a legion of journalists and camera operators, who went on to the national and international stage… and went about his job with absolute professionalism, passion and compassion.
Michael was 57.
