Sick children at Kempsey District Hospital are set to benefit from a generous donation to Give Me 5 For Kids.
Today, a cheque for more than $35-thousand was handed over to the charity.
The money was raised through different community events including a bowls day, rock concert, Triple M radio auctions and donation buckets at various businesses across the region.
“To see how the community is able to contribute to assist the ongoing delivery of our health services, especially in Kempsey is just fantastic.” – Warren Grimshaw, Mid North Coast Health.
The funds will purchase much needed paediatric and neo-natal equipment.
