Sam Poolman has been named as Australia’s captain for the up-coming Fast5 Netball World Series.
The event, which will be held in Melbourne this weekend, sees national teams from New Zealand, England, Jamaica, Malawi and South Africa compete in the shortened format of the game.
Picked by coach Stacey Marinkovich due to her great sense of team and personality, the Newcastle netballer is hoping to bring her signature physicality and intensity to the two-day tournament.
