TEEN INJURED IN MOTOCROSS ACCIDENT

A teenager is being flown to hospital following a motorcross accident at Quirindi.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew to the scene on Sunday afternoon, after reports a 17-year-old had come off his bike while going over a jump.

It’s understood he was run over by two of the following bikes.

He’s being treated for possible abdominal injuries, and is expected to be flown to Tamworth Hospital.
