DRINKWATER SECURES STORM DEAL

After winning the Cooper Cronk Medal for Feeder Club Player of the Year at the Melbourne Storm Awards night, Terrigal junior Scott Drinkwater has signed a new two-year deal.

The 21 year-old scored a try in a superb debut in Round 25 against the Penrith Panthers.

While he’s predominately played halfback throughout his career, he’s now firmly focused on the number one jumper, following the retirement of Billy Slater.
