A second man has died after a two car crash south of Muswellbrook yesterday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on the New England Highway, just north of Thomas Mitchell Drive at around 3:30.
The driver of a Subaru Forrester, a 48-year-old man died at the scene, while the driver and passenger of an Audi Q3 were flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
The 59-year-old driver passed away this morning, while his passenger, also 59, remains in a critical condition.
