The body of a 45-year-old woman has been recovered from a car found submerged in a dam at Bunyah on the Mid North Coast.
Police were called to Bunyah Road, about 20 kilometres west of Nabiac around 7am this morning, after reports a Suzuki Vitara was submerged in water.
It’s understood the four wheel drive left the road and hit an embankment, coming to rest in the dam.
Police divers located the woman’s body inside the vehicle.
