Port Macquarie’s under 12s boys basketball side has established itself as one of the best in the state, after competing in the New South Wales finals on the weekend.
The Dolphins won two of their three games in Maitland, which saw them qualify for the semi-finals.
But they were sadly knocked out by a North Sydney team, which went on to win the grand final.
The result positions the Dolphins as number one in Country New South Wales, and top four in the state.
