Investigations are continuing after an amenities block was destroyed by fire at a Hunter Valley sports ground.
Fire crews were unable to save the building at Howe Park at Abermain, after being called to the oval at around 6 o’clock last night.
Police now believe the fire was deliberately lit, and may have originated in nearby plastic wheelie bins.
