And next weekend, Dylan Sunderland will make his return to the north-west for the very first Tamworth Cycling Festival.
The Inverell cyclist will be one of the main contenders at this year’s inaugural event.
The festival aims to bring a taste of European cycling to the region, over two jam-packed days.
It all wraps up on Sunday week, with the Nemingha to Nundle handicap road race.
