A man has been flown to hospital this afternoon after a car crash in Taree.
Witnesses say the 79-year-old driver had attempted a U-turn on Wingham Road, and crashed into both a moving vehicle and a parked ute, narrowly missing a nearby home.
He suffered chest injuries and was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
