A female police officer has been treated in hospital, after allegedly being assaulted at Mayfield yesterday.
Shortly before 1pm, a man was making a grocery delivery on Mounter Street, when a male armed with a golf club began damaging the parked truck.
When officers arrived and arrested a 33-year-old man, it’s alleged he kicked the senior constable in the mouth.
He’s been granted conditional bail.
