Newcastle inner city traders will launch a class action against the state government, over loss of business they say has been caused by the light rail works in the city.
45 businesses have confirmed they’ll be signing on with Mitry Lawyers in a fight for compensation.
The group will be supported by small business advocates from Sydney, who claim livelihoods have been affected by light rail construction there.
