Two people are lucky to be alive, after an attempted carjacking and assault on Queen Elizabeth Drive in Armidale last night.
It’s alleged a man pulled a firearm on a male driver at around 9:30pm, whilst also attempting to smash the driver’s window.
The attacker fled the scene with another man, before allegedly assaulting a woman in a nearby park.
She was treated by paramedics and taken to Armidale Hospital with facial injuries.
Police are seeking two men who may be able to assist with inquiries.
