Police are seeking public assistance to locate two men, after a 21-year-old was assaulted and robbed on the state’s Far North Coast.
Shortly before 2 o’clock this morning a man was walking along Kennedy Drive at Tweed Heads West, when he was approached by two men he didn’t know.
The pair demanded the man’s mobile phone and wallet, before assaulting him.
He was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital with cuts to his head and hands, while the two men were last seen running north along Sugarwood Drive.
They’re described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged between 19 and 20.
One was wearing a black jumper, while the other man had short black hair, and was wearing a red jumper.
