The dream of Lake Macquarie sailor Will Ryan and his teammate Matthew Belcher to win a third-straight sailing world championship has taken a huge hit, after tumbling down the leaderboard in Denmark overnight.
The pair entered the second day of 470-class competition in third, but finished in 10th.
