STATE GOVERNMENT EDGES CLOSER TO MAKING DECISION ON SHARK NETS

The redeployment of shark nets in waters on the Far North Coast is looking less likely, after a recent DPI poll revealed community support is waning.

The move’s currently being considered by the state government with a decision expected to be handed down soon.
