Tamworth and Gunnedah will meet in the grand final of the Twenty20 Northern Inland cricket knockout.
Eight teams lined up for the inaugural event, the hosts and Tamworth making it through to the decider after convincing wins in the semi finals.
Tamworth was to strong for Inverell, dismissing the New England side for 73 runs, while Gunnedah booked its spot in the final following an easy win over Narrabri.
There was plenty of action in the opening matches.
Quirindi was the first team knocked out, dismissed by the hosts for 63 from just 11 overs.
Narrabri sent a valiant Pilliga side packing, while Tamworth was too strong for Manilla and Inverell outclassed Armidale.
