MAN SENTENCED OVER ROBERT PARRY ROBBERY

A Mayfield man will spend at least three years behind bars over the robbery of Wickham man Robert Parry, which ended in his death.

25-year-old Jesse Nikolovski and another man – 26-year-old Daniel Petryk – stormed Mr Parry’s home in March 2015, before Petryk fatally shot the 41-year-old.

Nikolovski, who’s currently serving an eight-year sentence for several other armed robberies, was today handed a maximum six-years jail.

He’ll be able to apply for parole in August 2021.
