A man is on the run after fleeing Glen Innes Correctional Centre in the early hours of this morning.
32-year-old Marcus Buchannan was discovered missing at around 6.30am.
He’s described as Aboriginal in appearance and has a number of tattoos – he was last seen wearing prison greens.
Another inmate also escaped, but was caught by an off-duty correctional officer on the Gwydir Highway.
