BINDAREE BEEF MAKES $140 MILLION DEAL
Inverell’s Bindaree Beef Group has struck a multi-million dollar deal with one of China’s largest meat processors under the new China- Australia Free Trade Agreement.
The company sold a 45 per cent holding to Shandong Delisi Food Co, worth $140 million.
It follows two months of negotiations and a merger with Sangar Australia, which saw the group purchase Myola Feedlot earlier this year.
Bindaree is the largest employer in the region, which processes more than 1,300 cattle a day.
