Police have released the image of a car they believe is linked to a 5-year-old girl being approached at a Newcastle park.
The incident happened at Gregson Park at Hamilton at around 10 o’clock on Thursday morning, when a man approached the young girl, kissing her on the cheek.
He made off as the child’s carer came to her aid.
The man is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, around 180cm tall, with black hair and facial hair, and left the scene in a silver Mercedes.
