TAS STUDENTS RETURN HOME FROM SUCCESSFUL NEW ZEALAND RUGBY TOUR

Students from The Armidale School have just returned from a rugby development tour of New Zealand.

Over 11 days, they received specialised training from elite coaches and also played a series of matches.

Their most significant win came over Christchurch Boys’ High, a school regarded as a rugby nursery.

The TAS opens team downing the boys from Canterbury 33-points-to-20, with the school producing 46 All Blacks.

The Armidale contingent also sat down for a meal with All Blacks captain Sam Whitelock.
