2018/19 A-LEAGUE DRAW RELEASED

The draw for the 2018/19 A-League season was released today, and there was mixed news for Newcastle.

The Jets will make two trips to both Perth and Wellington during the 27-game regular season, but will get to host defending premiers, Sydney FC, and F3 Derby rivals, the Mariners, twice at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Newcastle will start its season across the Tasman against the Phoenix, on Sunday October 21.

The Jets travel to Adelaide in round two, before returning home in round three for a grand final rematch with Melbourne Victory.

Newcastle will also host an Asian Champions League Qualifier in February, with an away leg to be scheduled once an opponent is determined.
