ARMIDALE RESIDENTS MEET WITH POLICE TO TACKLE CRIME

A meeting will be held in Armidale to tackle perceptions that crime is on the rise.

The event has been organised in response to a recent spate of armed robberies.

And while statistics show criminal activity is declining, police will meet with residents to hear their ideas for a safer community.

It will be held next Tuesday at Armidale City Bowling Club from 6pm.
