THREE PEOPLE HOME DURING VIOLENT ARMED ROBBERY IN ARMIDALE
Police are investigating a robbery in Armidale last night, where two men entered a home armed with a shovel and a knife.
Three people were home when the men arrived at the Taylor Street property about 9:30pm.
The men assaulted one occupant leaving him with cuts to his hand. They continued to threaten the other occupants with a knife and demanded cash.
A wallet, mobile phone, keys and cash were stolen before the men fled.
They’re being described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance and aged between 25 and 30-years-old.
One was of a heavy build wearing a dark hooded jumper, and the other also wearing a dark jumper and red cap had an athletic build.
