MID NORTH COAST’S TOP COPS RECOGNISED AT AWARDS CEREMONY

They dedicate their lives to protecting others, and today Mid North Coast police were recognised for their service in a special ceremony.

More than 30-medals and awards were presented to officers for their commitment, bravery and service.

Senior Constable Taya Bailey was recognised for her work in domestic violence.

“I am working a lot with particularly women and children and it’s quite draining and stressful for them so it’s fabulous to have a reward for that”

While Senior Constable Tim Eggert was nominated by his peers for Police Officer of the Year.

“That’s usually by performing proactive duties so actively targeting crime, specifically drugs and street offences”)
