CAMDEN HAVEN’S FEMALE DRAGONBOATERS FINISH THIRD

Camden Haven’s female division finished in third place at this year’s Port Macquarie Dragonboat Regatta over the long weekend.

The event held on the Hastings River was a huge success with paddlers coming from across the state.

“There’s competitors from the local area, Port Macquarie, Camden Haven, there’s Western Region, some from Orange, Central Coast and Newcastle

Teams took part in an 18-kilometre marathon race on Saturday and the sprints on Sunday.

The next regatta will be held at Ballina in August.
