A man is on the run, while another man is in hospital after a stabbing near Tamworth this morning.
About 4.30am today, two men and a woman were in a vehicle in Calala.
One of the men produced a knife, stabbing the other man and attempting to stab the woman, before running off.
The 33-year-old man is receiving treatment in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are searching for the alleged attacked, he’s described as having a tanned complexion, with a thin build and short brown curly hair.
He had missing teeth and tattoos on his chest, arms and back.
