With winter just days away, the region’s farmers are still feeling the pinch of a long, dry summer.
Tomorrow night a free drought management workshop will be held at the Somerton Hotel in a bid to help producers manage skyrocketing feed prices and prepare for the months ahead.
The forum will see agricultural consultants on hand to give specialised advice on stock management and feeding, as well as drought planning.
The information session will get underway at 6.30pm.
