PLENTY OF WORK TO DO FOR JASON DOYLE

The Hunter’s Jason Doyle still has plenty of work to do, as he looks to defend his Speedway GP world title.

After a disappointing effort in round one in Poland, the Australian was again in trouble, crashing in heat seven in the Czech Republic.

But round two was back on track as Doyle took out heat 16 and managed to qualify for the finals.

He avoided a crash in the first semi, but couldn’t sneak into the top two from the restart.

His points haul for the night sees him move up to tenth on the world championship leaderboard, ahead of round three in Denmark on June 30.
