Residents in and around Nundle and Hanging Rock were left in the dark last night, as a power outage hit around 900 households and businesses.
Broken cross arms and fallen power-lines kept Essential Energy crews busy into the early hours.
It was a chilly night to spend without an electric blanket, with temperatures dropping below zero.
Power was restored to all those affected just after 8am.
