EASY TO DO BUSINESS PROGRAM IN GUNNEDAH

Waiting times may soon be reduced for people opening small businesses in Gunnedah.

Service New South Wales’ Easy to Do Business program will see approvals for businesses such as cafes looked after in the one place.

It should see processing times slashed from as long as 18 months to just 90 days.

“When we look at the enormity of services that people have to go through or programs that people have to go through to be able to access any information, it’s got to be a plus,” says Gunnedah Deputy Mayor, Gay Swain.

“Just being able to go to one spot will be the best thing.”

To begin with the program will focus on small businesses, however others may be added in the future.
