CESSNOCK WOMAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING ALLEGED DRUG SUPPLY
An 18-year-old woman is due to face Cessnock Local Court, charged with alleged drug supply.
Just after 5.30am yesterday, officers from Hunter Valley Police District attended a home on Greta Street, Aberdare, where they stopped four people riding unregistered trail bikes.
One of the four fled on a trail bike and couldn’t be located again.
Officers allegedly located drugs, resealable bags and cash in a woman’s backpack.
An 18-year-old woman, and two men, aged 24 and 27, were arrested.
A search of the home located power tools, a cooktop, three motorbikes and a ride on mower, believed to be stolen.
The woman was charged with several drugs offences.
She was granted conditional bail to appear again on June 27.
The men were released pending further inquiries.
