THREE SURF STARS NAMED IN OZ SQUAD

Umina Life Member Garry Mensforth has been named Manager of the Australian team for November’s World Championships.

The Central Coast also has three athletes in the squad of 32.

Club mates Jemma Smith and Rachel Wood along with Shelly Beach star Brad Woodward – who won two individual medals in backstroke events at the Commonwealth Games.

It will be whittled down though, with just 12 competitors to don the green and gold in Adelaide.
