SUSPICIOUS BLAZE DESTROYS TAMWORTH HOME

A home has been destroyed by a suspicious blaze in Tamworth overnight.

Firefighters arrived around midnight to the house well alight – their fast work preventing damage to nearby homes.

No one was injured, and it’s understood the house was vacant at the time.

Crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes and fully extinguished within two hours.

Police are now investigating.
