Athletes from the Northern Inland Academy of Sport hit the road this morning, en route to Newcastle for the Academy Games.
NIAS is one of 11 academies to take part, as the festival showcases some of the states best emerging athletes across eight sports.
This year’s NIAS contingent is by far the biggest yet, with more than 100 athletes making the trip to the Hunter Academy of Sport.
