POLICE TAKE TWO MEN AND ONE WOMEN INTO CUSTODY FOLLOWING MANHUNT

A woman and two men have been arrested following a dramatic police operation in Cessnock today.

At about 11am a stolen car was involved in a collision in Cessnock and three people ran from the scene.

A perimeter was established as police searched for the trio and the near-by East Cessnock Public School was locked down as a precaution.

At about 1.30pm, two men aged 43 and 20 as well as a 23-year-old woman were arrested at a Yulgarn Avenue house.

One of the men is alleged to have been involved in a stabbing at Woodberry yesterday, which saw a 23-year-old man hospitalised with serious injuries.

  1. I think “Cessnock person” needs to get a hobby. Stop being a wet prune and be thankful we have free media that can report on these happenings.

  2. I was one of the vehicles involved in the “accident”. The skumbags actually took off in the car, tyres screaming and smoke pouring off them, female in front seat laughing her guts out. What grubs. Car was abandoned down the road a short way, where I guess it stopped due to damage it sustained. They then fled on foot. Congrats to the coppers for catching the arseholes. Hope they get what they deserve.
