The closure of beachside carparks across the Tweed Shire has been extended until May 7.
Councillors have voted in a extraordinary meeting to maintain the closures to limit visits to the beach during COVID-19 restrictions.
One car park at Kingscliff will remain open.
Council will consider the matter further when it meets again next month.
