BATT SCORES 34 GOALS TO LEAD WHEELCHAIR RUGBY TEAM INTO GOLD MEDAL MATCH

Port Macquarie’s Ryley Batt has led the Australian wheelchair rugby team into the gold medal match against the USA.

The Steelers outclassed Japan, with Batt scoring 34 goals.

In the pool, Lakeisha Patterson grabbed bronze in the 200m individual medley.

Fellow Aussie Maddison Elliott was sixth – she finishes the games with three gold and two silver.
