MEDICATION STOLEN FROM AMBULANCE IN KEMPSEY

Police are appealing to the public for information after medication was stolen from an ambulance while crews were responding to a patient in West Kempsey.
Two of the emergency services vehicles were sent to a job on Tozer Street in the early hours of yesterday morning when one was broken into while the other transported a patient to hospital.
Police are investing the theft and damage caused to the ambulance, and are also warning people of the dangers of taking medicine not prescribed to them by a doctor.
Anyone with information is urged to contact local detectives or Crime Stoppers.
