GAV’S WEATHER: WILD WEATHER FOR SOUTH EAST QUEENSLAND

The latest monsoon low will move south in the Coral Sea, generating more swell.

This will be an intense low, that will skim right in along the South East corner of Queensland, causing strong winds, huge swell and heavy rain. It will also affect the Northern Rivers.

Winds will pick up further between the Gold Coast and Coffs Harbour generating increased shower activity, while the swell will also increase.

It will remain mostly fine south of Coffs Harbour with the risk of showers small, while it will remain hot away from the coast.
