POLICE APPEAL FOR INFORMATION FOLLOWING ARMED ROBBERY

Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to, in relation to an armed robbery in Coffs Harbour early this morning.

Around three o’clock, a masked male entered the United Service Station on Harbour Drive and threatened the male attendent.

“The male was armed with a firearm, he’s approached the counter and threatened the attendant. A sum of cash and cigarettes were handed to the male and then he left the store.”

The amount of cash, and details of the firearm are not yet known.

The man was last seen running east along Harbour Drive.

“The male was about six foot tall, thin build and he was wearing dark pants and shoes and a dark coloured hoody he also had his face covered at the time.”
