SALTWATER-FRESHWATER SET FOR A RETURN IN 2019

Coffs Harbour’s Saltwater-Freshwater Festival, which was cancelled this year because of a lack of sponsorship, will go ahead in 2019.

In the past, the celebration of Aboriginal culture, which has been held on Australia Day since 2010, draws a crowd of up to 15,000 people at the Botanic Gardens venue.

“we are hopeful that in the next two to three months we should have some surety around moving ahead for 2019 on Australia Day and we will look to engage a festival team in or around that time period.

Aboriginal performers Archie Roach and Emma Donovan have been regulars at the event.
