GAV’S WEATHER: SIGNIFICANT CHANGE MOVING THROUGH

Ex cyclone Gita is deteriorating in the Tasman while a southerly change moves up the NSW coast.

As the two systems collide a new pulse of swell will arrive while the ex cyclone will make it’s way towards New Zealand.

Tonight more storm cells will continue across the north west of the state before contracting north and clearing tomorrow.

Rain will also increase along the coast as onshore south easterly winds build.
