The woman who died in a car crash in Casino on Tuesday has been identified as 62 year old grandmother Heather Flack.
Mrs Flack, from Fairy Hill, was travelling with her young grandson on the Bruxner Highway when her Ford Falcon was involved in a head-on collision with a Subaru Liberty.
The boy escaped with minor injuries, however Mrs Flack died on her way to Lismore Hospital.
The driver of the Liberty, Lennox Head Chamber of Commerce President Louise Owen is currently in a stable condition in Lismore Hospital.
